A Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr Myo Thein Kyaw visited Novosibirsk State Technical University and Nuclear Energy Information Centre together with officials of Rosatom on 29 March during the tour to Novosibirsk in Russia.
On arrival at the Novosibirsk State Technical University, the Rector and officials briefed him on the university data, curriculum, international students, academic activities and research with video presentation. Then, they discussed matters related to science and technology, as well as cooperation in research and scholarship programmes.
Next, the Union Minister and party observed the university campus.
They then proceeded to the Nuclear Energy Information Centre.
Officials of the Nuclear Energy Information Centre explained the energy information release, awareness campaigns, collaboration with universities, promotion activities of the science and technology sector and work plans of the Nuclear Technology Information Centre established in Myanmar.
